Kai on beach -- 15 months

Kai means ocean in Hawaiian—his mom and dad wanted to always be close to the sea. And he is! He’s a South Beach boy—the 6th generation of his family in Miami Beach.

I love this kid—the whole sucky cancer journey is made so much more bearable by having him in my life.
