strong heartViews: 103

I went to the cardiologist yesterday and everything is good. The EKG showed that I am having irregular heart beats, but the dr explained that if the heart is strong, they don’t worry too much about missed or extra beats. So they did an echocardiogram which showed that my heart is indeed very strong. What a relief!

The cardiologist did offer the option of taking a beta blocker to regulate my heart but I am definitely not going down that road right now if I don’t have to!

Naturally, it’s the chemo that has been causing all this alarming heart behavior and pretty soon there will be no more of that. Sometimes chemo can cause permanent damage to the heart, which was the reason for seeing a cardiologist. Being a POISON, chemo stresses out just about everything in the whole body (mind and soul). Can’t wait to be done with it!
