ALL CLEAR!!!!!!

Yes, that’s right, I said all clear! All clear! All clear!

Today I saw the gyn/onc and he said . . . see you in three months! He said all the pet scan results were just what he was looking for and now I can go back to the regular follow up schedule, every 3 months for the next 2 years. What glorious news to hear after the months of chemo and radiation and incessant visits to innumerable doctors.

I had the biopsy on the parotid gland and the concensus was that it is a cyst. I am calling it a parotid pimple! Pam was so incredibly kind and helpful, going with us to the head and neck board and then getting me in for the biopsy the very next day (which she performed herself). I am very grateful.

So now begins the strangely weird process of getting back to normal, which begins with a fabulous holistic rehab program (guided by my beloved), and some wonderful travel.
